PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the strength of a bonding phase and abrasive grain holding strength. SOLUTION: By sintering a mixture of a phenol formaldehyde resin and ultra abrasive grains 4, the phenol formaldehyde resin is amorphous-carbonize to form the bonding phase 3 with high bonding strength consisting of amorphous carbon grain 6. Segregation is mad by driving the grain boundary of adjacent amorphous carbon grains 6, 6 or super abrasive grains 4 near it to form a grinding wheel 1. The super abrasive grains 4 are arranged with the grain size of the amorphous carbon grain 6 as a pitch.
