PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make oil holes of cam shafts by using special cores. SOLUTION: The oil holes (4, 5 and 11) of the cam shafts (1 and 10) are made by using cores (14) consisting of mullite-base artificial sand consisting essentially of Al2O3.
