CLEAR MOLDED ARTICLE AND RECORDING MEDIUM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clear molded article which exhibits no birefringence in all the directions and is suitable for a recording medium such as an optical recording medium. SOLUTION: This molded article is formed from a nonbornene resin composition comprising a norbornene resin and a polymer which has a wavelength dispersion of intrinsic birefringence values (Δn) satisfying the relation represented by the inequality: |Δn(450)/Δn(550)|<1.03 [wherein Δn(450) and Δn(550) are intrinsic birefringence values (Δn) at wavelengths of 450 nm and 550 nm, respectively. Preferably, the polymer is an acrylic polymer and the thickness is 5 mm or lower.
