PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording body, prominent in high glossy property, ink absorbing property, resistance to water, resistance to weather and color developing property. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording body, provided with an ink receptor layer on an opaque supporting body, is characterized by having the layer constitution of more than one layer in the ink receptor layer and at least one layer can be obtained by crushing and dispersing an aggregate of the primary grain of silica having the grain size of 3-40 nm through a mechanical means while containing colloidal grains, consisting of secondary grains having the average grain diameter of 1,000 nm or less and a water-soluble resin. |
