PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the overlapping of an optically varying image with information and improve the accuracy of reading the information. SOLUTION: An image recording body is constituted of a base, an image receiving layer formed on the base and an optically varying element layer formed on the base and provided with the optically varying image at least on a part of the layer, and the optically varying image is visible in the form of being overlapped with an image recorded on the image receiving layer in the first direction and not visible in the form of being overlapped with the image recorded on the image receiving layer in the second direction.
