PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph a wide range by a monitor television camera, to reduce labor such as a security check, and to reduce the time therefor in a turning elevator. SOLUTION: In this turning elevator, chains 6 connect chain gears 9, 9' coaxially provided to a pair of drive gears 10, 10' and chain gears 7, 7' provided on shafts 8, 8', terminal ends of the chains 6 are connected to a fixing bracket 4 through a connection bracket 5, and the fixing bracket 4 is connected to an elevating disk 16. A turning motor 18 fixedly provided with a gear 24 is fixed to an end part of the elevating disk 16, while the gear 24 is meshed with a gear 17 provided inside a turning disk 19. When the turning motor 18 rotates, the gear 17 rotates to rotate the turning disk 19 to which the gear 17 is fixed. Accordingly, a camera stand 25 on which the camera 26 is fixed is normally and reversely rotated. Normal and reverse rotation of a motor 14 and the normal and reverse rotation of the turning motor 18 can vertically move the elevator and can turn the elevator.
