SOLUTION: This safety device of an elevator has car falling-prevention bodies 6, 7 having locking parts 6a, 6b disengageably engaged with engagement holes at a predetermined height among a number of engagement holes 2b formed on guide rails 2, 3, and a car receiving part 6c integrally formed on the locking parts 6a, 6b for receiving the car 4.
