PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfect printing printer which can print to a recording paper 2 and can give an operator a warning sentence that a printed matter is a printing error when a first and a second printing means print on both faces of the recording paper of a double feed state in which two recording papers are transferred overlapping. SOLUTION: This printer has a control part in which a reference size set longer than a length of the recording paper 2 is stored. When a detected length of the recording paper by a first paper-detecting means S1 is larger than the reference size, it is so detected that the printing is carried out to two recording papers of a state in which the papers are fed double and overlap with each other. The printing on the recording papers 2 is stopped. Moreover, the warning sentence that the printing is stopped in the middle is printed. The printed matter of the printing error is accordingly prevented from being mistakenly used. |
