PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device which has a hermetic seal structure having waterproofness and moistuteprofness, maintains downsizing and has an excellent appearance. SOLUTION: This image pickup device 10 is constituted by bonding a front section 1 and a back section 2 connected thereto to each other by waterproof double coated adhesive tapes 5 and covering the exterior of the double coated adhesive tapes 5 with a hermetic real member 4 having hermeticity.
