PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste pressurizing means, in which the finishing quality of bookbinding is improved through the improved coordinating accuracy of papers and the bookbinding treatment by surely bonding of the papers under the state that a pressure is uniformly applied to paste coated surfaces, resulting in realizing the miniaturization and simplification of a machine and the bookbinding machine equipped with the paste pressurizing means. SOLUTION: Paste is applied in a straight line or in a broken line near the side edge part of a paper S to be conveyed with a paste coating means 30 so as to piling up and house a plurality of coated papers S in a paper housing part 22 in order to shift and pressurize every one of or a plurality of the rear surface sides of the paste coated parts N of a plurality of the paper S coordinated by the coordinating means in the paper housing part 22 with pressurizing roller members 26 as a paste pressurizing method.
