PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a container with a collar of a large diameter and a high capacity with such advantages that the collar can be easily formed of a material in one piece, on the end part of a synthetic resin tube and can be finished seemingly with a beautiful look as well as a manufacturing device for the container with a collar. SOLUTION: The synthetic resin tube 11 is put on the outer periphery of a frame 12 with an inner diameter, to which the tube 11 is fitted by expanding the end part of the tube 11 and the diametrally expanded part is shaped by heating the expanded end part. Next, the base of the diametrally expanded part is made to approach the frame 12 by inserting into the frame 12 the tube 11 obtained by extracting the diametrally expanded part from the frame 12. Under this state, the collar formed of a horizontal part overhanging to the outside of the tube 11 and a suspended part on the outer periphery of the horizontal part, is obtained by bending the diametrally expanded part along the outer face of the frame 12 while heating the part.
