PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated polyester film easily achieved in fire retardancy without damaging appearance, transparency, mechanical properties and chemical properties originally possessed by a polyester film. SOLUTION: In the laminated polyester film consisting of at least three layers including polyester copolymerized by a compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein A is a divalent or trivalent organic residue, Q is a 1-18C hydrocarbon group and Z is an ester forming functional group) as an inner layer, the amount of phosphorus in the film is 0.2-2 weight % and the total thickness of the layers other than the inner layer is 0.01-0.5 times the thickness of the inner layer and the sum of the tensile breaking strengths in the longitudinal and lateral directions of the film is 25-60 kgf/mm2.
