THERMOPLASTIC ALIPHATIC POLYURETHANE, ITS PRODUCTION METHOD AND USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic polyurethane stable to light, heat and hydrolysis and not causing low-temperature embrittlement, and to provide a method for producing the same polyurethane. SOLUTION: This molding composition features comprising the thermoplastic aliphatic polyurethane stable to light which has the following properties: (i) values of ultimate tensile strength(UTS) and elongation at break(EAB) after high-temperature storage correspond to at least 60% of those before the high- temperature storage; (ii) a glass transition temperature is not higher than -50 deg.C; (iii) values of UTS and EAB after storage under a hydrolyzing condition correspond to at least 80% of those before the storage under a hydrolyzing condition; and (iv) a Shore hardness A is 70-95. The method for producing the same composition is also provided.
