PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium, prominent in the absorbing property of ink, a color developing property, the stain resistance, the water resistance and the weather resistance of a printed image or the like, as well as the manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: The recording medium for ink jet is provided with an inorganic porous layer, containing principally an inorganic pigment as well as an organic binder and formed on a substrate consisting of a foamed resin, and a porous resin layer, formed of the latex of a thermoplastic resin and provided on the inorganic porous layer. |
