PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an all-season type pneumatic radial tire having a tread pattern on the basis of blocks for not impairing either performance by satisfying all of wettability, uneven abrasion resistance and noise performance. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic radial tire 1 having a tread pattern 7 on the basis of left and right blocks 6L, 6R, the groove depth H of a central longitudinal groove 3 is set not less than 80% of the groove depth H1 of shoulder longitudinal grooves 4L, 4R, desirably, not less than 90%, and thin grooves 6LA, 6LB, 6RA, 6RB parallel in the groove lengthwise direction of lateral grooves 5L, 5R are formed shallower than the groove depth H2 of the lateral grooves 5L, 5R on the circumferential directional edge side of the left and right blocks 6L, 6R. |
