PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic barrel finishing device capable of polishing regardless of whether the workpieces to be polished are magnetic substances or non-magnetic substances and well polishing even if the workpiece are complicated and fine shapes. SOLUTION: The device comprises a barrel member 2 composed of a non- magnetic substance, a central cylindrical body 2 integrally constituted in the axial center, an external magnetic field generator 3 comprising a plurality of external magnetic poles and coils arranged at a specified electrical angle along the external periphery of the barrel member 1, an internal magnetic field generator 4 comprising an external magnetic pole and a coil arranged at a specified electrical angle the internal periphery of the central cylinder body 2, abrasive grains 6 for polishing a workpiece 10 to be polished by the relative movement caused between the workpiece 10 and the abrasive grain 6 in a doughnut-like polishing bath 5 in the barrel member 1, and a power supply device 7 provided with two-frequency variable power supply circuits 7a and 7b for supplying power to the external magnetic field generator 3 and the internal magnetic field generator 4. |
