PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance inspection device of a spindle orientation sensor, capable of easily and reliably inspecting performance of a spindle orientation sensor. SOLUTION: This performance inspection device for a spindle orientation sensor formed by connecting a sensor detector 5 to a sensor head 4 through a connector 7 is provided with an output voltage measuring part of the sensor detector 5 connected to the sensor head 4, an insulation resistance measuring part of the sensor detector 5 connected to the sensor head 4, and an inter- terminal insulation resistance measuring part of the sensor head 4 separated from the sensor detector 5.
