<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid contact of a card and an ink ribbon for preventing peeling of the ink ribbon, deviation of the ink ribbon from a route, and soiling of the card. SOLUTION: A movable card guide 76 is provided elastically supported so that the card 2 does not contact with the ink ribbon 11 at a carving forming portion of the card 2, and when a carving operation is performed by a carving means, the movable card guide 76 is moved. By this, the card 2 abuts to a stationary card guide 77 for carving it by the carving means, and at an end of the carving operation by the carving means, the card 2 is withdrawn by the movable card guide 76 to a position not contacting with the ink ribbon 11.</p> |
