PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor controller satisfying both of an acceleration demand of a driver and maintaining of an air conditioning function in traveling on an ascending/descending slope in particular. SOLUTION: In traveling on an ascending slope, a compressor controller expands a compressor stopping area so as to facilitate introduction into an air conditioning cutting state, so that acceleration performance can be improved. In traveling on a descending slope, the compressor stopping area is shrunk so that introduction into the air condition cutting state is deterred, and consequently, an air conditioning function can be maintained. In traveling on a descending slope, if an operating ratio of the compressor is increased when the number of engine revolutions is comparatively low, an engine brake can be boosted.
