PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a ply cord crease, and improve the durable service life of a tire in the pneumatic radial tire for adopting a middleless structure for carcass ply for reducing a car inside sound. SOLUTION: This pneumatic radial tire is provided with a bead core 7 arranged in a pair of left and right bead parts, single carcass ply 2 fastened to the bead parts by being folded back outside from the inside to the bead core 7, at least a single belt 3 arranged outside in the crown part tire radial direction of the carcass ply 2, a tread part 4 arranged outside in the tire radial direction of the belt 3 and a pair of sidewall parts 5 arranged inside in the tire radial direction from both ends of the tread part 4. The carcass ply 2 has a center hollowed-out structure by hollowing out the center under the belt 3, and has a substantial close contact part between outside carcass ply 2a and inside carcass ply 2 folded back by the bead core 7.
