A screw-type bottle cap having a body with an internal thread and a tamperproof strip which has at least one expansion structure that includes at least one point at which it is fixed to the cap body. In this way, a screw-type cap is produced which has a reliable tamperproof function wherein the tamperproof strip remains attached to the cap body when the cap is unscrewed, without the free ends of the strip protruding from the cap body.
