PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for executing a surgical procedure for a lacuna of an intervertebral disk between adjacent vertebrae. SOLUTION: A cannula is inserted to make a work passage through skin and tissue of a patient by using an approaching method through a hole for a lacuna of an intervertebral disk. A visual member is used to watch a work end of the cannula and the lacuna of the intervertebral disk. To approach the lacuna of the intervertebral disk, a vertebral joint projection excising operation is executed via the work passage. For the lacuna of the intervertebral disk, various kinds of apparatuses such as a destructor, a shim, a chisel and a destructor cutter extending through the work passage are prepared. In the lacuna of the intervertebral disk, at least a transplanting member is inserted. By the procedure, both sides of adjacent intervertebral disks can be supported in the lacuna of the intervertebral disk via a method which is a single and minimum in entering into the body.
