PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw material grinding ball mill with a drying chamber capable of enhancing drying efficiency and grinding efficiency and capable of stably drying and grinding a raw material containing more adhesion water than before without providing a separate dryer on an upstream side. SOLUTION: In a ball mill having a drying chamber integrally provided in the front stage part thereof, a cylindrical trommel 12 for sieving fine particles in a raw material is provided in the central part of the drying chamber and a ribbon-like spiral 14 is provided in the trommel 12. The trommel 12 has a large number of apertures 12a passing fine particles provided to the cylindrical part thereof to separate fine particles in the supplied raw material.
