PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a socket cover of electrically-driven reel from shaking and moving. SOLUTION: An electric source cord 30 for the electrically-driven reel is a cord for supplying power of external electric source to the electrically-driven reel which is equipped with a socket 11 for supplying power and a socket cover 36 which is furnished with a cover part 36a capable of sealing the socket 11 watertightly at the tip and is engaged with a reel machine body at the base edge, the cord has a connector part 31, a cover engaging part 33 and a cord part 32. The connector part 31 is detachably fixed to the socket 11 and electrically connected to the socket 11. The cover engaging part 33 is attached to the connector part 31 to be engaged with the cover part 36a. The cord part 32 is electrically connected to the connector part 31.
