PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ending device capable of surely connecting expandable and contractible threads such as elastic threads. SOLUTION: This ending device 1 having an ending nozzle 4 capable of introducing two thread ends YP, YB and allowing the compressed air to act thereon, and two untwisting nozzles 5, 6 mounted at both sides of the ending nozzle 4, to be faced to the two thread ends YP, YB introduced into the ending nozzle 4, further comprises resisting members 2, 3 for applying the resistance against the contraction of thread ends, to thread ends YP, YB reaching the untwisting nozzles 5, 6 for preventing the thread ends YP, YB sucked into the untwisting nozzles 5, 6 from being contracted by the elastic force or the like, and preventing the failure in ending.
