PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an olefin polymer which relatively decreases an amount of a diluent and other reaction product. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing an olefin polymer includes a process of recovering a part of a suspension liquid of an olefin polymer particle formed in a diluent from a polymerization vessel and diluting it with a liquid and a process of transferring it to a hydrocyclone separator in which there are formed a concentrated suspension liquid of the polymer particle on one hand and a flow substantially composed of the diluent on the other hand for separation.
