PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyrolysis reactor for a waste treatment device which allows continuous discharge of pyrolysis residues sent to the discharge aperture side of a revolving drum in the pyrolysis reactor, especially bulk non-combustible matters contained in these pyrolysis residues and therefore inhibits troubles caused by the retention of such bulk non-combustible matters. SOLUTION: The body of the pyrolysis reactor for a waste treatment device 1 consists of a horizontal revolving drum 2. A discharge aperture 40 having a diameter smaller than that of the revolving drum 2 is established at the rear end of the revolving drum 2. Multiple guiding cylinders 44a, 44b, 44c and 44d are established and connected in a staircase pattern at the upstream of the discharge aperture 40. Here, each of the guiding cylinders 44a, 44b, 44c and 44d has a diameter between those of the exhaust aperture 40 and the revolving drum 2, and their diameters successively increase toward the upstream of the discharge aperture 40.
