PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric washing machine that eliminates fear of loss or breakdown by depositing clothes in machine room and brings about reduced noise, energy saving an large capacity effect as well as easiness of taking out clothes. SOLUTION: An electric washing machine comprising an outer washing tub (4) containing a downsized internal rotating washing tub (3) so small as to contain clothes compressed with the weight of contained water and an internal fixed washing tub (2) that contains overflown clothes out of the internal rotating washing tub (3) before or during washing, realizing large capacity washing.
