PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable harvester designed to enable mulch-cultivated vegetables w to be both pulled up and subjected to stems/leaves cutting treatment mechanically and also improve both the smoothness and accuracy of the cutting treatment for the stems/leaves w1 with a cutter 20. SOLUTION: This vegetable harvester has a nipping/carrying device 3 where the respective stems/leaves w1 and w1 of left and right vegetable rows R1 and R2 are nipped together and carried slantly upwardly backward and concurrently, the corresponding roots w2 and w2 are pulled simultaneously off the ground, and a stems/leaves cutting device 4 where the respective lower portions of the stems/leaves of the thus pulled vegetables corresponding to two rows are separated from each other upward and downward during carrying them by the above device 3; wherein the device 4 is complied of a pair of left and right guide channels 19b and 19b for guiding the above stems/leaves in a specifically inclined direction in such a condition as to be divided into the corresponding rows and a cutter 20 for cutting off the thus guided above stems/leaves corresponding to the two rows; in this case, the pair of left and right guide channels 19b and 19b are disposed so as to gradually run apart from each other as they go backward.
