METHOD FOR PRODUCING QUINAZOLINE COMPOUND AND METHOD FOR PURIFYING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially producing 2-(piperazinyl)[4- amino-6,7-dimethoxyquinazoline safely, easily and economically, and to provide a method for producing the above compound in high purity. SOLUTION: This method for producing the subject quinazoline compound of formula (II) comprises reaction of a compound of formula (I) with piperazine in an aqueous solvent. The other objective method for purifying the above quinazoline compound of formula (II) comprises dissolving the compound of formula (II) in acidic water followed by removing insolubles through filtration and then depositing the compound of formula (II) under a basic condition.
