PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for external use capable of solving the problem that, although a melanin suppressing composition for external use in a conventional beautifying cosmetic or the like is compounded with a melanin formation suppressing component, the actual processes of the formation and distribution of melanin in the skin are very complicated, and even a cosmetic prepared by singly compounding a component which can effectively inhibit or suppress one mechanism of the formation of melanin cannot exhibit practical beautifying effect such as the discoloration or disappearance of pigment deposition effectively sufficiently in a short time. SOLUTION: A cosmetic prepared by compounding a component having melanin formation suppressing activity, a component having inflammatory effect and a component having keratin removal stimulating activity, together. This cosmetic can reduce or remove pigment deposition quickly and effectively.
