PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation device of an elevator capable of preventing a working bench from being rocked, and easily centering a guide rail regardless of a dimension and the shape of a hoistway. SOLUTION: An anti-rocking means 22 is demountably mounted on a lower part of a floor 12 of the working bench 8, and a cut-out part 24 to be engaged with a sliding surface 7a of a standing guide rail 7 is formed on a tip part of an engagement member 23 of the anti-rocking means 22. Whereby the forward and backward, and left and right rocking of the working bench 8 can be prevented by engaging the cut-out part 24 with the sliding surface 7a of the guide rail 7 by mounting the anti-rocking means 22 on the working bench 8 after the guide rail 7 is uprightly fixed even in a case when the hoistways 1 are arranged in parallel without hoistway walls.
