PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve an aminophenol derivative, especially a para-aminophenol derivative such as N-cholesteryloxycarbonyl-4-para-aminophenol or N- ethyloxycarbonyl-4-para-aminophenol, in an amount sufficient for the use in cosmetic or dermatology without having problems of recrystallization and instabilization of a composition containing the same in a physiologically permissible solvent. SOLUTION: The solubilizing agent is selected from (a) oxyalkylene modified fatty acid esters of sorbitan, (b) oxyalkylene modified hydrogenated castor oil and (c) oxyalkylene modified fatty alcohol, and has no vesicle form.
