A pipe for steel frame structure is disclosed. The pipe includes a cylindrical pipe wall of cylindar shape, and a reinforcing unit having a plurality of radial reinforcing ribs. The inner ends of the reinforcing ribs are connected to each other at a center axial line of the pipe wall and the outer ends of the reinforcing ribs are welded to or integrally formed with the inner surface of the pipe wall. Although the entire outer diameter and volume are smaller (about one half) than those of the conventional pipe, desired mechanical strength may be achieved, and thus transportation and handling are simple and the space needed to keep and to transport are decreased. |
