PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulky rice transplanter having resolved such a problem that complicated design of the support scheme for a planting transmission frame at the planting section of a conventional sulky rice transplanter has resulted in cost increase as a whole. SOLUTION: This sulky rice transplanter has such a scheme that, the rear portion of a traveling vehicle is mounted with a planting section 9 in a vertically movable manner, a planting transmission frame 92 for transmitting mechanical power from the input shaft of the planting section to planting tines 9 is constructed to gate shape when viewed from the top and both sides of the frame 92 are fixedly fitted with support plates 174 and 175, on which a traverse feed shaft 180 and a planting depth support shaft 161 to interlock with a planting depth control lever 79 are supported; and one side of the support plates is fixedly fitted to a traverse feed gear case 172 and one end of a seedling stand support frame 190.
