PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new aminoamidine derivative type organic UV-screening agent dissolving in usual organic solvent well and having an excellent light fastness and cosmetic characteristics in addition to its excellent screening effect in UV-A and UV-B zone, and a composition for protecting the skin, etc., from the ultraviolet rays. SOLUTION: This light-protecting cosmetic composition uses an aminoamidine derivative corresponding to the formula (I) wherein Ar1 is an aromatic ring of formula (II) [wherein R1 to R3 are each the same or different, and express H or form a 5- or 6-membered aromatic heterocyclic ring, etc.], or an aromatic ring of formula III [wherein, Z expresses C or N]; and Ar2 and Ar3 are each the aromatic ring, etc., corresponding to the above Ar1}.
