<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel technique for preparing a methane fuel and recovering energy in a state such as electric power, beat, etc., by treating organic wastes in a high gasification efficiency. SOLUTION: The process for preparing a fuel gas comprises steps wherein (1) a liquid organic matter is introduced into a primary reactor in a pressurized, heated state via an introducing device of which the internal pressure may be adjusted, and is subsequently heated and pressurized in the presence of an oxygen-containing gas, (2) the gas-liquid mixture phase formed in step (1) is subjected to gas-liquid partition, (3) the separated liquid phase obtained in step (2) is catalytically cracked to generate a methane gas-containing gas-liquid mixture phase in a second reactor, (4) the gas-liquid mixture phase obtained in step (3) is decarboxylated in the second reactor, and (5) a methane gas is recovered from the decarboxylated gas-liquid mixture phase obtained in step (4).</p> |
