PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device for preventing the formation of a gap between a movable cutter and a fixed cutter, allowing the measurement of stress distribution during cutting and preventing the rounding of the cutters at their edges. SOLUTION: The movable cutter and the fixed cutter are held between guide rails 4 in such a manner that the movable cutter and the fixed cutter are always pushed against the guide rails by a pusher 5. The movable cutter and the fixed cutter are formed of materials, different in hardness. The guide rails have load cell mounting faces 6.
