PURPOSE: A safe receptacle is provided to prevent electric shock from child's inserting a chopstick into a receptacle by disabling from inserting into a power terminal of a receptacle with pressing just one protrusion of a safe member which protrudes to a rotating shutting hole of a switch unit. CONSTITUTION: A rotating shutting hole(210) enables a rotation axis unit(212) settled in perpendicular to central lower part of a circular plate unit(211) in which a terminal hole is made for a plug to be inserted to be inserted from upper part to lower part of an upper case(100). A rear plate(220) disables the rotating shutting hole(210) from being separated from upper part of the upper case(100) in connection with the rotation axis unit(212) protruded to lower face of the upper case(100). A safe member(230) is inserted into the rotation axis unit(212) to be settled between lower face of the upper case(100) and the rear plate(220), and is inserted into a hole made in the upper case(100) and the rotating shutting hole(210) and the terminal hole with both ends protruded upwards. An elastic member(240) supports the safe member(230) elastically with being inserted into the rotation axis unit(212) and being supported by the rear plate(220), and is compressed to get a protrusion unit of the safe member(230) to go down to the bottom of the rotating shutting hole(210) in case the plug is inserted into the terminal hole of the rotating shutting hole(210).
