PURPOSE: A system and method for supporting electronic commerce using geographical information system are provided to load prices of building materials and equipments, received form a supply company via the Internet, on a web site in real time, and offer geographical information of the supply company and a buyer company. CONSTITUTION: A buyer company(100) searches a web site(500) in order to buy the building materials and equipments necessary in a construction field. When the buyer company(100) accesses the web site(500) and is registered as a member, it can make a buy request and search a desired worker and information. If a supply company(300) accesses the web site(500) and is registered as a member, it can register a price, participate in a tender and request auction. The web site(500) reports a price, company information and deliver details to the buyer company(100), and supplies information of the tender to the supply company(300). The web site(500) enables a common user(600) to register a hunt for a job, and provides information on a job offer. The web site(500) requests an approval of an electronic bill to a cyber-bank(400).
