PURPOSE: Provided is a leachate barrier system in a landfill. The leachate barrier is composed of the mixture of sodium silicate and a micro cement coagulating agent or a liquid micro cement coagulating agent. CONSTITUTION: The leachate barrier system consists of a bank (1), first leachate barriers (2,2a) and second leachate barrier (3). The first leachate barriers (2,2a) are equipped from the surface of the bank (1) to the leakage depth (h) with an interval of 80-100 cm. The second leachate barrier(3) is equipped between the first leachate barriers (2,2a) with an interval of 80-100 cm.
