PURPOSE: An opening/shutting valve of a low tank for a toilet is provided to maintain a water level of stored water in the low tank and to wash with a small amount by deviating the filled air of a ball through refilled currents. CONSTITUTION: A buoyancy is controlled by forming openings(1a,1b,1c) in a ball and deviating air through an invasion of water. A shaft(3) is formed at a center part of the openings. The ball is rotated by connecting the shaft with a lever of an opening/shutting valve. A stepped portion of the shaft is inserted in a reinforcing member inside the opening/shutting valve. The opening/shutting valve is closed by the buoyancy from differing an air storage amount inside the ball according to a selection of the openings. Thereby, the water inside a tank is discharged continuously and a discharged amount is controlled gradually.
