MINING WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD

PURPOSE: Provided is a mining wastewater treatment system which is characterized in using U-shaped hollow fiber membranes. CONSTITUTION: The mining wastewater treatment system consists of the following parts: a neutralization tank (1); a membrane module (2); a separation tank (4) for sediment; a thickener (5) for sludge; and a drying chamber (6). The membrane module contains a ring-shaped membrane supporting part at the center of the U-shaped hollow fiber membranes. The hollow fiber membrane has an effective diameter of 0.005-1micrometer and an effective area of 1-100m¬2/module.
