METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING DEFICIENCY OF OXYGEN IN VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A preventing device for deficiency of oxygen in a vehicle is provided to supply the deficient amount of oxygen into a vehicle automatically if the amount of oxygen exceeds reference value and to prevent a driver from sleeping by automatically stopping a heater causing the deficiency of oxygen if the amount of oxygen reaches the reference value. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(10) alarms a user of the amount of oxygen exceeding reference value and opens a window if the amount of oxygen in a vehicle exceeds the reference value. An oxygen sensor(S1) and a human sensor(S2) are connected to the control unit. Herein, the oxygen sensor measures the amount of oxygen in a vehicle, and the human sensor detects presence of people in the vehicle. An alarm unit(12) and a window drive unit(14) are mounted at the control unit. The alarm unit outputs alarm sounds to a user, and the window drive unit opens or closes each window of the vehicle. If a driver or passengers get on the vehicle, the current amount of oxygen is compared with specific reference value. If the current amount of oxygen is lower than the reference value, the alarm unit warns a user of the state and the window drive unit opens one of the windows. Thereby, the current amount of oxygen is the same or exceeds the reference value to prevent the user from sleeping.
