PURPOSE: A compressor is provided to minimize loss of a refrigerant path and temperature increase of the refrigerant by emitting heat from respective elements of a compressor with improved structure of a main frame. CONSTITUTION: A lateral end of a main frame(130) placed in the upper end of a baffle(160) is curved toward the side where an intake port(40) is formed. A refrigerant guided via the baffle flows along a curved face of the main frame and directly flows into the intake port. The refrigerant flowing into a closed vessel(1) via an intake pipe(1a) is split into upper and lower flows by the baffle in the closed vessel. The upper refrigerant flow flows along the curved face of the main frame after approaching the intake port with a Coanda effect. Thus, the refrigerant is smoothly sucked into the intake port and unnecessary flow of the refrigerant toward the upper portion of the closed vessel after passing by the intake port is avoided.
