PURPOSE: A rubber composition of a tire tread is provided which satisfies low heat generation, low gasoline mileage and high braking performance and has improved wear-resistance. CONSTITUTION: The rubber composition of a tire tread comprises: (i) 100 part by weight of a blending rubber which consists of 10-50 part by weight of a butadiene rubber and 50-90 part by weight of a natural rubber and has a glass transition temperature of -100 to -116 deg.C, 1,4 cis-butadiene content of more than 96 in a fine structure composition, a pattern viscosity at 100 deg.C of 55-65 and a stress alleviating time gradient of -0.30--0.50; (ii) 40-80 part by weight of a carbon black which has a CTAB of 145 square meter per gram, an ISA of 130 milligram per gram, a DBP of 130 milliliters per 100 grams, a C-DBP of more than 100 milliliters per 100 grams, a TINT of more than 110, a N2SA of 135 square meter per gram, a STSA of 128 square meter per gram, a toluene discoloration of less than 50 at 34 nanometers, a N2SA/STSA of 1.0-1.3 and a N2SA-STSA of 0-35; and (iii) conventional additives. |
