PURPOSE: An embroidery processing system comprising an operation panel, a communication interface device, a main controller and an embroidering machine and a method for setting its home position is provided. Whereby, the embroidery operation is carried out exactly and quickly by easily correcting the position of a needle bar in the main controller. CONSTITUTION: In an embroidery processing system comprising a CPU, a RAM, a HDD, an operation panel for selecting embroidery operation and displaying on a screen, a communication interface device for connecting the operation panel and a main controller, the main controller for treating a signal related to the drive of an embroidering machine and the embroidering machine, this system is characterized in that the location data of a needle bar is detected at the main controller, whether a home position or not is displayed on the operation panel and the position of the needle bar is set to a home position in the initial time of operation. |
