METHOD FOR GENERATING AND TRANSMITTING OPTIMUM CELL IDENTIFYING CODE

PURPOSE: A method for generating and transmitting an optimum cell identifying code is provided to use the cell identifying code on the basis of a Hadamard code and a Bi-orthogonal code. CONSTITUTION: Many identifier codes for being endowed to each available cell during an SSDT(Site Selection Diversity Transmit) by a UE(User Equipment) are generated by using a Hadamard code and a Bi-orthogonal code. When the identifier codes of corresponding cells selected by the UE are transmitted through an upper link specific control channel, a bit number for being inserted into an FBI(Feedback Identifier) field of each slot is decided by the UE. The identifier codes of the corresponding cells selected by the UE are repeated as one or one more times according to code types, and transmitted to the each available cell.
