摘要 PURPOSE: A design method for manual operating air conditioning system for electronic equipment container is provided, in which the interior of the container is maintained at constant temperature, to thereby prevent damage to the equipment caused due to over heat and dew formation. CONSTITUTION: A manual operating air conditioning system comprises an electronic equipment container(10) constituted by a heat insulating wall(20) for protecting the container interior from an external heat; a heat exchanger(30) having an indoor unit(31) and an outdoor unit(32) which are arranged inside and outside the electronic equipment container with the heat insulating wall disposed between two units. The heat exchanger further includes a water reservoir(33) interconnecting the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. The indoor unit and the outdoor unit have pumps(31a,32a) and valves(31b,32b) arranged at the connecting pipe connecting the indoor unit and the outdoor unit to the water reservoir. The heat insulating wall has a minimum thickness(Lmin) which satisfies the equation; Lmin = kAw(Tmin-Tymin,∞)/Q, wherein k is a coefficient of thermal conductivity of the heat insulating wall, Aw is the total surface area of the heat insulating wall, Tmin is the minimum allowable temperature for the interior of the container, Tymin,∞ is the minimum annual temperature of the outdoor unit, and Q is the amount of heat of the container interior.
