PURPOSE: A device for controlling air conditioning of a vehicle is provided to protect a respiratory organ of an occupant from contaminated indoor air of a vehicle by cleaning the contaminated air and to improve function of a vehicle by automatically cleaning the contaminated air. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning controller for a vehicle comprises a duct pipe member(1) forming an air path, an intake door(2) installed in one end of the duct pipe member to suck or cut off the external air, an intake door motor(3) for opening and closing the intake door, a blower motor(5) installed in one end of the duct pipe member to drive a blower fan(4) circulating indoor air of a vehicle, a control unit(6) controlling operation of the blower motor and the intake door motor, an indoor contamination sensor(7) installed in a proper position inside the vehicle to detect contamination of the internal air and transmit the detecting result to the control unit, and an outdoor contamination sensor(8) installed in a proper position outside the vehicle to detect contamination of the external air and transmit the detecting result to the control unit. If the external air is contaminated, the intake door is closed to cut off inflow of the external air into the vehicle. If the internal air is contaminated, the intake door is opened. Then, the internal air is ventilated via the intake door by passing through the duct pipe member. Therefore, an occupant in the vehicle is protected from contaminated air.
